• Burrow (a horizontal tunnel in the stratum corneum produced by a parasite)
• Cyst (an encapsulated nodule filled with soft material)

• Excoriation (traumatic, linear lesion usually caused by scratching)
• Lichenification (thickening of skin - like lichen on a tree trunk! - usually caused by rubbing)
• Macule (a flat lesion 5 mm in diameter or smaller)
