Sézary syndrome

- A rare form of aggressive cutaneous T-cell lymphoma
- Related to mycosis fungoides
- Rarely related to HTLV infection
- Early lesions are typically thing erythematous plaques or patches and can look like psoriasis, eczema, atopic dermatitis, leprosy, or lichenoid pityriasis
- Sézary syndrome itself is characterized by erythroderma, a diffuse pruritic exfoliating rash
- Often with lymphadenopathy
