- Candidal infection of the oropharynx
Epidemiology
- Uncommon in immunocompetent patients
- Risk factors:
- Antibiotic use
- Diabetes mellitus
- Dentures
- Inhaled steroids
Treatment
- Nystatin swish-and-swallow
