  • Abdominal ultrasound to rule out hydronephrosis

Management

  • Foley catheterization
  • Monitor lytes, urine lytes, urine output
  • If post-obstructive diuresis
    • Monitor urine output, replace 75% by volume with half-normal saline
    • Monitor electrolytes
