Investigations
- Bladder scan
- Abdominal ultrasound to rule out hydronephrosis
Management
- Foley catheterization
- Monitor lytes, urine lytes, urine output
- If post-obstructive diuresis
- Monitor urine output, replace 75% by volume with half-normal saline
- Monitor electrolytes
