Any non-pregnancy cause of fever
Viral
- Non-specific viral infections including viral gastroenteritis
- Influenza
- Rubella
Bacterial
- Chorioamnionitis
- Listeria

The usual infection investigations: CBC, electrolytes, creatinine, blood +/- urine cultures, NP swab if the right season, other investigations depending on clinical context
Make sure to get liver enzymes and urinalysis for non-infectious pregnancy complications
Consider CXR if there are respiratory symptoms
Fetal non-stress test
