- Etiologies can include: idiopathic, pseudo-allergic (in atopic patients and/or with dermatographia), post-arthrography, Lyme disease, filariasis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, dracunculiasis, CML, and Sjögren syndrome1
