== Clinical Manifestations ==

* Contracted by ingestion of undercooked, contaminated seafood
* Intubation period less than 48 hours, followed by [[Causes::gastroenteritis]]
* Usually self-limited but can last up to 4 weeks

== Management ==

* Supportive care
* Can use [[Is treated by::fluoroquinolones]], [[Is treated by::azithromycin]], or [[Is treated by::amoxicillin-clavulanic acid]] for 3 to 5 days if mild
* Can use [[Is treated by::ceftriaxone]] or [[Is treated by::carbapenems]] if severe
