Management

• Rule out iron deficiency
  • Ferritin <50 mcg/L is associated with increased RLS
  • Treat empirically if ferritin ≤75 as an initial step
• Can use any of the following:
  • Pramipexole
  • Ropinirole
  • Rotigotine
  • Gabapentin
  • Pregabalin
