Clinical Manifestations
- Most commonly causes panuveitis, but can affect any part of the eye
Diagnosis
- Difficult as disease is paucibacillary
- May need to rely on clinical findings plus positive tuberculin skin test
Differential Diagnosis
- Other causes of uveitis
Management
- Same as for tuberculous meningitis
- May need steroids
- Risk of IRIS in patients with HIV
