Background
- One of the non-tuberculous mycobacteria
- Grows at 30 ºC with iron in culture
- Its environmental reservoir is water
Clinical Manifestations
- Tender erythematous skin nodules and ulcers
- Tenosynovitis
- Osteomyelitis
Management
- Treated with azithromycin and ciprofloxacin and rifampin, with or without amikacin
