- Small-molecule TNF-α inhibitor
- Dimeric fusion protein of a portion of the TNFR2 attached to the fC domain of human IgG1
- Indications include JRA, RA, ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, and plaque psoriasis
- Infectious complications include TB, NTM, and listeriosis, as well as other granulomatous diseases including histoplasmosis, candidiasis, aspergillosis, cryptococcosis, nocardiosis, and salmonellosis
- Likely lower risk of TB than monoclonal antibody inhibitors of TNF-α
