Background
- Malignancies in the heart are much more commonly metastatic rather than primary
- Sites of metastasis include:
- Pericardium (most common, 65% of cardiac metastases)
- Epicardial (30%)
- Myocardial (30%)
- Endocardial and intracavitary (rare, 3-5%)
