Clinical Manifestations

• Usually presents with pancytopenia
• Suspect in cases of hematologic malignancies with DIC
• Blasts + Auer rods + DIC

Management

• Give ATRA if there is a suspicion of APL
• For DIC: keep fibrinogen >1.5-2 and platelets >30
