- Aerobic, non-fermentive, Gram negative, catalase positive, oxidase negative
Clinical Presentation
- Nosocomial infections with high mortality and high antibiotic resistance
Management
- Limited antibiotic options:
- Levofloxacin (and other FQs)
- TMP-SMX (Septra)
- Doxycycline
- Maybe also ticarcillin-clavulanate and ceftazidime
