Pott syndrome
Definition
- Vertebral osteomyelitis caused by Mycobacterium tuberculosis
Presentation
- In children, prefers low cervical or upper thoracic vertebrae
- In adults, can present in any vertebra but thoracic and lumber are more common
Investigations
- Multiple core biopsies
