Diagnosis

  • At least one cognitive domain affected (complex attention, executive function, learning and memory, language, perceptual-motor, social cognition), but preserved ADLs and iADLs and no other cause identified

Management

  • No pharmacologic management

Non-pharmacologic management

  • Diet (Mediterranean diet, i.e. PREDIMED)
  • Exercise doesn't prevent dementia but can delay progression
  • Cognitive stimulation can delay progression
  • Vascular risk factor optimization
