Differential Diagnosis

  • Gastroesophageal reflux
  • Chronic graft-vs-host disease
  • Blistering skin lesions
  • Paterson-Brown-Kelly or Plummer-Vinson syndrome: upper esophageal webs + iron-deficiency anemia, glossitis, and cheilosis (dry, scaly fissures at the corners of the mouth)
