Mycoplasma phocacerebrale

• Causative organism of seal finger, also known as sealer's finger and spekk-finger (from the Norwegian for "blubber")
• Infection of the fingers of seal hunters and others who handle seals, typically as a result of bites or contact with exposed seal bones
• Treated with doxycycline
