• Aerobic, non-fermentive, Gram negative, catalase positive, oxidase negative

Clinical Manifestations

• Nosocomial infections with high mortality and high antibiotic resistance

Management

• Limited antibiotic options:
  • Levofloxacin (and other FQs)
  • TMP-SMX (Septra)
  • Doxycycline
  • Maybe also ticarcillin-clavulanate and ceftazidime
