Dosing

• Giardia duodenalis (last-line treatment): 6 mg/kg per day orally divided in three doses (maximum dose 100 mg per dose) for five days

Safety

• Adverse effects including nausea, vomiting, dizziness, headaches, psychosis, yellow-orange discoloration of skin and mucosa, hemolysis (in G6PD deficiency)
