- Previously grouped into the genus Peptostreptococcus
Clinical Manifestations
- Bacteremia
- May be associated with pneumonia, pre-term delivery, skin and soft tissue infection, intraabdominal infection, or urinary tract infection1
Management
- Generally susceptible to penicillin, metronidazole, and clindamycin1
