Epidemiology
- Eggs can be ingested from soil contaminated by raccoon feces
- The worm can infect a number of vertebrate animals
Clinical Manifestations
- Can cause neural larva migrans, ocular larva migrans, diffuse unilateral subacute neuroretinitis, visceral larva migrans, as well as asymptomatic infections
