- The intensity of addiction to nicotine can be measured by the Fagerström test
Clinical Presentation
- Symptoms typically start within 4 to 24 hours of last dose
- Common symptoms include irritability, frustration, anger, restlessness, low mood, increased appetite, insomnia, difficulty concentrating
- Other symptoms can include: constipation, nausea, nightmares, sore throat, and dizziness
