Background

- Commensal flora of the upper airway, and may colonize skin, the GI tract, and the female genital tract

- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Pharyngitis
- Bacteremia
- Endocarditis
- Septic arthritis
- Osteomyelitis
- Puerperal infections
- Meningitis
