- Aflagellate
- Previously identified as Bacteroides corrodens
Epidemiology
- Acquired through fecal-oral route
- Thought to be a zoonosis, though not from poultry, possibly from cattle
Clinical Manifestations
- Acute gastroenteritis, similar to Campylobacter coli
Management
- Likely susceptible to metronidazole
