Differential Diagnosis
- Idiopathy
- Connective tissue diseases, including Marfan syndrome and Ehler-Danlos syndrome
Clinical Manifestations
- Headache that is worse on standing and relieved supine
Investigations
- Lumbar puncture, with opening pressure measured in lateral decubitus
Management
- Caffeine
- Bed rest
- Hydration
- Consider epidural blood patch (by Anaesthesia)
