Epidemiology

  • Accounts for 35% of non-Hodgkin lymphomas
  • Older adults, median age 65 years

Clinical Manifestations

  • Painless peripheral adenopathy that waxes and wanes
  • Can present with large abdominal masses, sometimes with urinary or colonic obstruction
  • Mostly asympatomatic, otherwise
  • Up to 20% can have constitutional symptoms
  • No characteristic laboratory abnormalities
