Background
Mechanism of Action
- Relebactam improves activity against beta-lactamases including class A and C
- Also includes cilastatin, as per usual with imipenem
Spectrum of Activity
- Active against Enterobacterales including ESBL, AmpC, and KPC, Bacteroides, MDR Pseudomonas
- No activity against many Gram-positives or afermentative Gram-negatives
