- Treats Ascaris lumbricoides, Cutaneous larva migrans, Echinococcus granulosus, Giardia lamblia, Trichinella spiralis, Versteria mustelae, Visceral larva migrans
- Usual dose is 400 mg PO bid, or 15 mg/kg/day (max 800 mg) PO in 2 doses
- Adverse reactions include: hepatotoxicity, leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, and alopecia
