- Immune-mediated thrombocytopenic purpura (ITP)
  - Hepatitis C, HIV, and H. pylori
- Thrombotic microangiopathy
  - TTP/HUS, other TMAs
Sequestration
- Splenomegaly

Investigations

Rule out secondary causes with HCV, HIV, and H. pylori serology
