Examination
- Palpation
- Normal PMI
- May have palpable P2 or RV heave in pulmonary hypertension
- Auscultation
- Loud, snapping S1
- ± opening snap (OS)
- Severe disease shortens the duration between S1 and OS
- Best heard at PMI in LLD
