Management
- STOP SMOKING!
- No role for beta blockers or other medications solely for the AAA
- Monitor at intervals based on size
- 3-3.9 cm: every 2-3 years
- 4-4.9 cm: every year
- 5-5.4 cm: every 6 months
- Once 5.5 cm, should be operated on (risk of rupture 10% per year)
