Dog Bites

Cat Bites

- First-line: amox/clav
- Alternatives:
- Cefuroxime 500 mg po q12h
- Doxycycline 100 mg po bid
- If only Pasteurella is isolated, can treat with penicillin alone
Human Bites

- Look for wound infections, herpes B virus, and rabies virus
