Background
- Protrusion of one or both eyes anteriorly
Etiologies
- Inflammation into the orbit
- Invasion
- Benign or malignant orbital tumours, including hemangioma, neuroblastoma, neurofibromatosis, leukemia, lymphoma, paranasal sinus mucocele, pseudotomour
- Metastasis, from breast cancer (most common), lung cancer, prostate cancer, melanoma, carcinoid tumour
- Vascular abnormality
- Trauma or foreign body
