• Ubiquitous in the environment
• Rare causes of infections in humans
• May have OXA-type carbapenemases

• May be susceptible to ampicillin-sulbactam, cefepime, ceftazidime, ceftriaxone, gentamicin, levofloxacin, meropenem, piperacillin-tazobactam, tobramycin, and trimethoprim-sulfamethoxazole
