== Management ==

* Native valve
** Antibiotics:
*** MSSA: [[cloxacillin]] or [[cefazolin]] (or [[vancomycin]], if allergic)
*** MRSA: [[vancomycin]] (or [[daptomycin]], if allergic)
** Duration: 6 weeks
* Prosthetic valve
** Antibiotics: as above, with the addition of rifampin for the whole duration and an aminoglycoside for the first 2 weeks
** Duration: 6 weeks
