Management
- Capillary blood glucose QID (before meals and at bedtime, prior to insulin administration)
- CBG prn symptoms of hypoglycemia
- Contact MD for CBG less than 4 mmol/L or greater than 20 mmol/L
- Contact MD to reassess regimen if CBG less than 5 or greater than 11
