- Also known as Cast syndrome, Wilkie syndrome, arteriomesenteric duodenal obstruction, and chronic deuodenal ileus
- Caused by compression of the third portion of the duodenum by the superior mesenteric artery and aorta
- Presents with symptoms of proximal small bowel obstruction
