- Pseudomyxoma peritonei, caused by a muconous producing neoplasm often originating in the appendix
- Malignant peritoneal mesothelioma
- Peritoneal lymphomatosis, associated with lymphomas including AIDS-defining illnesses and Burkitt lymphoma
- Peritoneal tuberculosis, which can be "wet" (abundant ascites), "fixed fibrotic" (peritoneal masses and strictures), or "dry"/"plastic" (fibrous reaction in the peritoneum)

- Diffuse peritoneal leiomyomatosis
