Background
- Rare but severe complication of SARS-CoV-2 infection
Clinical Presentation
- More common in younger adults than older, and in men than women1
- Most commonly causes fever (90%)
- Often causes hypotension, cadiac dysfunction, dyspnea, and diarrhea (>50%)
- Myocarditis in a third
