Morulae in neutrophils

- Finding on peripheral blood film of basophilic cytoplasmic inclusions that look somewhat like a mulberry
- Suggestive of human granulocytotropic anaplasmosis, when they are most commonly seen during the first week of illness
- Can also be seen in human monocytotropic ehrlichiosis
