Mixta calida
- Gram-negative bacillus within the genus Mixta
- Previously known as Pantoea calida
- Environmental organism
- A few published case reports of infections in humans: wound infection, meningitis, bacteremia, defibrillator infection1
- In the case reports, mostly susceptible to routine beta lactams and other routine antibiotics1, though there are also case reports of carbapenem resistance2
