• Myeloproliferative disorders (hard spleen)
• Visceral leishmaniasis (soft spleen)
• Schistosomiasis (from portal hypertension)
• Tropical splenomegaly syndrome (from Plasmodium infection)
• Non-massive splenomegaly
  • Enteric fever
  • Brucella melitensis
