Hand-Schüller-Christian disease

• A form of Langerhans cell histiocytosis, also called multifocal unisystem Langerhans cell histiocytosis
• Occurs in infants and children
• Characterized by fever, bone lesions, and rash on scalp and ears, with a classic triad of:
  • Exophathalmos
  • Diabetes insipidus, from pituitary involvement
  • Lytic bone lesions in the skull
