- Acute allergic hypersensitivity reaction of buccopharyngeal mucosa and upper respiratory tract following ingestion of raw or undercooked sheep or goat (ovine) liver
- Occurs exclusively in Lebanon
- Possibly related to Fasciola or Linguatula serrata (dog tongue worm)
