Background
- Rare congenital disease
- Autosomal dominant from mutations in ELANE gene
Clinical Manifestations
- Cycles of severe neutropenia approximately every 21 days (range 2 to 5 weeks)
- Duration of neutropenia varies by patient but is consistent for each patient
- Usually mild syndrome, though some can develop aphthous ulcers during the nadir
