- Screening assessment for delirium
- Compared to assessment by a psychiatrist, has a sensitivity of 94-100% and specificity of 90-95%
Criteria
- Acute change in mental status with fluctuating course, and
- Inattention, and
- Either of the following:
- Disorganized thinking, or
- Altered level of consciousness
