Abemaciclib

- Small-molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinases 4 and 6 (CDK4 and CDK6)
- Indicated for breast cancer (HR positive, HER2 negative)
- Major adverse effects include diarrhea (most common), myelosuppression with neutropenia and rare febrile neutropenia, increased creatinine, DVT/PE, hepatocellular hepatotoxicity, pneumonitis, and increase in infections
